Tamboula Ethnic Dance Corporation (TEDCO) achieved a significant milestone. On December 16th, 2006, the dance ensemble celebrated its fifth year as Chicago’s premier Haitian dance ensemble. TEDCO has had many opportunities throughout the years to bring Haitian music, dance, history, and culture to the Chicagoland area and in doing so, has enriched lives by being an important cultural connecting point for the Haitian community. Since the inception of TEDCO, we have been privileged to partner with and to support several community-based organizations and the work which they are doing to benefit Haitians in the Chicagoland community, the Haitian Diaspora, as well as the homeland. With your support, we can continue to grow into a solid entity focused on positively representing the Haitian community in Chicago, the US and aboard.
Tamboula Ethnic Dance Corp is an Illinois not-for-profit and a registered 501(c)3 organization, your gift to the company is tax deductible. TEDCO’s mission has remained focused on two main objectives; preserve and promote Haitian dance heritage, and establish cultural exchanges among all ethnic groups, through education and the celebration of Haiti’s culture. Your contribution provides the funding needed to finance operating costs and will assist in our efforts to continue our focus and expand as we look forward to the following initiatives in 2008:

Develop a cultural and historical education curriculum about Haiti
